This year was Hoop Montréal’s fifth participation in Nuit blanche à Montréal. Before telling you about this latest edition, we will take the opportunity to look back on our past Nuit blanche.
A big thank you to the passionate teachers, artists and ambassadors of Hoop Montreal, Caroline, Julie, Aurélie, Chantale (photo) and Fanny, who made the success of these five magnificent nights possible.

2018: Tribal Hula Hoop
Faithful to the theme of this edition of Nuit blanche, (re) Mix, we started off in a big way with a collaboration with the Sultanosto Percussion group. More than 15 percussionists transmitted incredible energy to the hoopers during the four hours of the event. It was a great success with more than 150 festivalgoers who hula-hooped with us at Studio Bizz Mont-Royal.
2019: Neo-Hoop
With the theme Nuit blanche of the future, we went into a completely different atmosphere with a DJ and hula-hoop party. In an electric atmosphere, DJ Kola Papass made the hoops of the 144 festivalgoers who came to Studio Bizz dance for three hours. Also, a second room was available allowing you to benefit from the expertise of one of our instructors in a quieter atmosphere. The evening was immortalized by the superb images of photographer Joé Lacerte.
2020: Cercle VERTueux
For this “Nuit en vert” edition, we returned with the DJ & hula hoop formula with a fantastic performance by Zenith Architech. More than 180 festivalgoers hula-hooped to the catchy rhythms of Über’s electronic music accompanied by the melodies of Aolia’s magic flute. What a night! The event took place at the Studio Bizz studio- théâtre.
2023: VINTage Hula hoop
After a two-year hiatus due to you-know-what, we returned with a more intimate event for the 20th anniversary edition of Nuit blanche. The evening took place for the first time at Station Clark and around 80 festivalgoers came to hoop with us.
2024: Fairy Hoops
It was a return to the DJ & hula hoop formula for this year’s edition whose theme was Fantasies. Music and lighting by Eden Creative provided a magical atmosphere and our teachers offered spectacular hula hoop performances. During the three hours of the event, we welcomed 143 festivalgoers in the large studio of Station Clark.
