A four days intensive course that includes theory, practice and exams. In order to guarantee the quality of teaching, places are limited to 10 people. To participate, you need to master the techniques of our initiation course curriculum. We only teach what we know! All material is provided.

During this course, you will develop a deep understanding of hula hoop’s basic movements and learn how to help struggling students by developing your observational skills. You will learn how to build a 1 hour class, what are the contraindications of the hula hooping, and how to choose your music. You will also see the business aspect of the industry and the specific regulatory context of Quebec. There will be a hula hoop making workshop to fully understand the different types of hoop and we will review the advantages and disadvantages of each type. You will keep your creation!
This training is spread on four days over 2 weekends, during which you will see the theory, develop and practice your teachings, while sharing your knowledge and experiences. It will end with a written exam and a practical exam. During the training, you will have the opportunity to observe a Hoop Montréal beginner class.
You must be present at ALL classes (24 hours in total) in order to obtain your Hoop Montréal Instructor Certificate. Please contact us if you are unsure of having the skills to become a hula hoop teacher or if you have any questions.
